Register now: Summer workshops for kids

Registration is now open for our summer workshops for kids, and early birds get Php 500.00 off the registration fee!

The Book Making Workshop is for kids aged 6-10, and will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN for a whole week (April 7 to 11, Monday to Friday). It will be moderated by Annie Pacaña-Lumbao, member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan and author of But That Won’t Wake Me Up! and But That Won’t Make Me Sleep.

• Day 1: Exercise and Visualization
• Day 2: Constructing the Storyline and Character Development
• Day 3: Illustrating, Layout and Editing
• Day 4: Coloring and Book Cover Design
• Day 5: Finishing Touches and Awarding of Outputs

Also a week-long class (May 12-16), the Illustrating Workshop is for kids 11-16 years old. The workshop will be facilitated by comic book and graphic artist Koi Carreon, along with PilandoKomiks creator Borg Sinaban.

• Day1: Introduction to the Comic World
• Day 2: Plot Discussion; Character Development
• Day 3: Different Coloring Medium
• Day 4: Cover Design, Title Pages and Creating an Alias/Pen Name
• Day 5: Finishing Touches and Citations
