Our storytellers play a crucial role in our efforts to develop in children a love for books. Through their infectious enthusiasm, our storytellers present kids with a vision of the joy that can be found in reading.
We would be happy to find new members for our pool of freelance storytellers, and we are looking for people who have great stage presence and share our passion for local literature, literacy, and early childhood education.
In two weeks, we will be holding auditions for those interested in becoming one of our storytellers. We require people who are:
- passionate about telling stories and enjoy the company of kids
- generally available during the work hours of weekdays
- willing to travel
- at least 18 years of age
If you meet the above requirements, please start gearing up for your audition—a simulated storytelling session, using an Adarna House storybook of your choice, in the language you excel in. The auditions will be held on September 2, Friday, at Adarna House.
