We currently have an opening for an Artist position.
The Artist will report to the Product Development Officer and will assist in conceptualizing, designing, encoding, preparing layout and illustration for company products in line with the company’s strategic and annual plans. The specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conceptualizing and designing artwork for company products and publicity materials
- Encoding, layout, and preparation of illustrations for company products
- Ensuring high quality and consistency of all reprints
- Assistance in the review of manuscripts submitted to the company for publication
Candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- Knowledgeable in graphic design, publication design, and both traditional and digital illustration
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign
- Enthusiastic about children’s books, art, and design
