Go!, a big book about nutrition and healthy energy, was launched today at McDonald’s Greenbelt. Present at the launch were Adarna House President Emelina S. Almario, Ronald McDonald House Charities Executive Director Marie Angeles, FNRI-DOST Director Dr. Mario Capanzana, McDonald’s EVP and CFO Bing Bachoco, and McDonald’s Philippines Chairman Mr. George Yang.
And with today being World Read Aloud Day, Adarna House storyteller Heidi Santos-Demaisip was also there to do a storytelling session with Grade 1 children from Pio del Pilar Elementary School.
Go! is published by Adarna House, in partnership with RMHC which uses the big books for their Bright Minds Read program, and with FNRI-DOST, the principal research arm of the government in food and nutrition.
