Mercado Rizal is a market honoring Jose Rizal’s 150th birth anniversary. To be held on August 20 at Mercato, the market shall feature 30 stalls selling all things Rizal — paper products, memorabilia, t-shirts, Rizal-inspired food products and even bowler hats for kids!
Activities include Drawing Sessions with artists from Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang InK) at 8:00am and 10:00am, Dress-up-as-Rizal Contest for Kids, and storytelling of Rizal-inspired stories at 7:00am, 9:00am and 1:00pm.
