Learning From the Past: a lecture on teaching and reading history. The lecture will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on August 7, 2010 (Saturday) at the Mezzanine of Bestsellers, 4/F Robinson's Galleria.

National Historical Institute Chair Ambeth Ocampo will open the lecture with a discussion on Teaching History as a Perspective.  He will be followed by Dr. Cesar Pobre, former president of the Philippine Historical Association, who will be sharing fun and intriguing bits about Philippine Historical Controversies.

The lecture is open to the public, but offers limited slots on a first-come, first-served basis.  Simply purchase any Adarna House reference book from Bestsellers Robinson’s Galleria and head to the Customer Service desk for registration.
